About the Builder
Today, Larry Duell runs the day-to-day operations of Father and Son Builders, Inc. He earned his Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Tennessee, and his dedication to the industry is evident by the various positions he’s held. In previous years, he served as President of the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Maine, and currently serves on the National Association of Home Builders Board of Directors. He also holds two industry designations: Certified Green Professional (CGP) and Certified Graduate Builder (CGB).
When Larry isn’t building homes, he is an avid golfer and mountain climber. He’s conquered Mt. Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), Mt. Orizaba (Mexico) and Mt. Whitney in California, which is the highest summit in the contiguous United States. He and his wife, Stephanie, live in Southern Maine with their son, Aiden, and their weimaraner, Venice. As a family, they enjoy traveling – including taking in a few University of Tennessee football games each season.
